Building community connections in Woodbine and Woodlands since 1987

Who We Are

The Woodcreek Community Association is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to building and maintaining a vibrant, connected neighbourhood in southwest Calgary.

We bring neighbours together through programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen our community and make it a better place to live for everyone.

Programs & Activities

We offer year-round programs for all ages, from parents & tots to seniors' activities, and everything in between.

Community Events

Our seasonal events bring neighbours together for BBQs, dances, movie nights, and celebrations throughout the year.

Neighbourhood Advocacy

We represent residents' interests with the City of Calgary on matters affecting our community, from traffic safety to development.

Community Facilities

We maintain the community hall, skating rinks, basketball courts, and skatepark for all residents to enjoy.

Our History Timeline

From two separate communities to one unified Woodcreek

1976

Woodbine community established and Woodlands Community Association incorporated (May 21)

1982

Community Centre building constructed at 1991 Woodview Drive SW (approximately 1000 sq. ft.)

1992

Major expansion: 2500 sq. ft. addition with full basement added to Community Centre

2026

Woodlands community established

1980

Woodbine Community Association registered (October 19)

1987

Woodlands and Woodbine Communities amalgamated (January 29), creating Woodcreek Community Association

2010

Serving 15,399 residents across both Woodlands and Woodbine communities
